John Kolinofsky

Instructor at Motus Jiu Jitsu

John Kolinofsky is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and currently trains under Professor João Gabriel Rocha at Alliance Dallas. He also holds a brown belt in Judo under Sensei, Russ Hogan at Eastside Dojo.

John lives in McKinney with his wife and daughter and has spent the past 18 years working as a talent and modeling agent. He owns an agency in Dallas and began training martial arts as a way to stay active and in shape. He quickly fell in love with grappling and began competing in local tournaments in both Jiu Jitsu and Judo.

In 2023 John decided to open Motus Jiu Jitsu as a way to train closer to his home and begin teaching, coaching and sharing his passion for the grappling arts.
